Went to work as salesman for Father in-law's company, Abrasive Products,
retiring in 1969 as Factory Manager.
Bought first house around 1933 in Quincy, MA (49 Sargent St.) Both children
brought up in same. Moved to Braintree in 1959 (162 West St.) when Richard
married and left home. Retired in 1969 and moved to Lyme, New Hampshire then
to Hyannis, Ma. in 1979.
According to Lois (Joy) Chandler: Played Sax in a band called "Red Nichols and
the Five Pennies" He was one of the five pennies. Also played in an orchestra
at the Totem Pole Ballroom. (Could be the same). She told also of his piano
expertise.

hours, he enjoys gardening...or keeping busy in his home workshop...While
vacations find him enjoying the Florida sunshine. But this week...It's another
