• Grand Pre Community Fly Project to investigate the origin of swarms of flies. (funding from Easter Kings Memorial Health Foundation) (2001-2002)
• Wolfville Waterfront Development development of infomation panels (1994-2000)
• Herpetology Atlas for Nova Scotia in co-operation with Acadia University and Nova Scotia Museum (funding from Environment Canada Habitat Stewardship, N.S. Habitat Conservation, The McLean Foundation, Mountain Equipment Co-op, Federation of Nova Scotia Naturalists) (2002-2004)
• Sheffield Mills Community Association Annual Eagle Watch - help with interpretation and bird count (1995-present)
• Evangaline Beach Shorebird Project - education of local residence and visitors as to the presence of and the need to not disturbe migrating shorebirds.(2000-2004)
